Located in the heart of Kingham, a quintessential English village (voted England’s favorite) 90 minutes from central London by car or train. There are three unique cottages in traditional Cotswolds style with timeless interiors and all the modern-day conveniences to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The twin or double bedrooms are all beautifully furnished, most of them ensuite or with separate bathrooms. The cottages also benefit from open plan living areas, flagstone floors, open fireplaces and decorated with ‘arts and crafts’ period furniture. Another highlight includes Daylesford Organic's farm shop and café only a 20-minute walk away.
The retreat will start 6pm on Friday 29 April and finish 10am Monday 2 May.
Yoga with Celest will take place in the beautiful Sequoia room (overlooking the pool). There will be a welcome class on arrival, two classes on Saturday and Sunday and a farewell class Monday morning.
During this long weekend, Celest will introduce a fun selection of asanas as well as fun partner work and yoga nidra. Expect to sweat and flow in the morning with classes involving arm balances, inversions, partner work and some acro yoga poses for giggles. The evening classes will be more restful and restorative involving deep tissue relaxation techniques to prepare for a good night’s sleep.
Celest is deeply passionate about yoga and wants people to leave her classes surprised by what they have accomplished. She is a professionally trained dancer and martial artist therefore her talents lie in teaching yoga asanas that link and flow, helping one discover the relationship between the poses.
She has also completed a BSc in Physiotherapy lending to an in depth knowledge of the human body, how it works and what it can do. Her philosophy is that all one needs to do yoga is have a little courage and lots of fun! On this retreat, expect to work hard and laugh a lot. Advanced postures will be woven into the flow and broken down to their most basic form so all levels will benefit and partner work will be encouraged.
